My father taking me outside one evening to look at the stars at the age of 10, and soon there after, discovering science fiction, and watching The Outer Limits on TV. All of these things together got me thrilled about space, and by the age of 11 I was building my own telescope and reading Sky and telescope magazines to learn more facts about space.
